The fourth season of the JDA Montreux school is about to begin, and what better way to kick it off than with a taster week where you can try out this season’s classes.
- Date: 21–25 August 2023
- Venue: Rue de l’église catholique 14, 1820 Montreux
- Registration: compulsory; places are limited to 10–12 per class, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (please check the age requirements for each class carefully!)
- Fees: the first class is free; subsequent classes are priced at CHF 30.00 per class (payable before the class), but if a membership is taken out afterwards, these fees will be deducted from the membership price (these classes are free for students already registered for the new season)
- Timetable: the standard timetable, with the exception of JDA Junior 1 and 2 classes (see below) and classes that are fully booked
- Clothing: comfortable dancewear, socks, hair tie, water bottle, etc.
The classes are aimed at different age groups:
- Baby Dance: 3 to 4 years old (children must no longer wear nappies)
- Body awaking for girls and boys: 4 to 6 years old
- Introduction to Jazz / Classical Dance: 6 to 8 years old
- Classical Dance Beginners/Intermediate 8-11: 8 to 11 years old
- Classical Dance Beginners/Intermediate 11-15: 11 to 15 years old
- Jazz/Modern Jazz Preparatory: 8 to 10 years old
- Jazz/Modern Jazz Cycle 1: 10 to 12 years
- Jazz/Modern Jazz Cycle 2: 12 to 15 years
- Jazz/Modern Jazz Cycle 3: 15 years and over
- Modern Jazz beginners/intermediate: adults
